CHILDREN AND PASSIVE SMOKE

Children exposed to secondhand smoke have increased chances of:

  • development of asthma
  • bronchiolitis
  • episodes of bronchospasm

 

→ Also, 50-100 % increased chances of acute respiratory infections. Finally, infants are at greater risk of sudden infant death syndrome. ‼️😨
