🆘 Hand-foot-mouth disease (coxsackie) is on the rise right now!

📌Main intestines that cause it are A16 and EV71.

📌Transmitted mainly by respiratory secretions but also by objects.

📌Usually, its manifestations are mild with the characteristic rash (bubbles), fever, itching, dysphagia.

📌 its complications are RARE (myocarditis, meningitis, etc.).

📌Treatment of symptoms with hydration-antipyretics and sometimes antihistamines and antibiotic creams (for possible infection).

📌Because, there is a wrong impression, THE DISEASE IS TRANSMITTED IN THE FIRST 7 DAYS FROM THE START OF THE SYMPTOMS!!!
