Severe sore throat that makes swallowing difficult.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Fever that may be accompanied by chills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Red, swollen tonsils with possible white plaques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Swollen lymph nodes in the neck.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Bad breath and hoarse voice.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Treatment of tonsillitis:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Rest and adequate hydration: Ensure that your child drinks plenty of fluids and gets enough rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Analgesics and antipyretics: Use them with the advice of your doctor for pain and fever relief.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Antibiotics: They are only given if the cause is bacterial, such as streptococcus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:
